How Much Does a Restaurant POS Cost in the Philippines?

A restaurant POS cost in the Philippines has four parts: software, hardware, payment fees, and setup. Published software plans run from free to about ₱2,300 a month for an entry plan, and past ₱8,000 for the biggest. Hardware for one counter costs anywhere from nothing, if you use a tablet you already own, to ₱40,000–₱65,000 for a vendor’s terminal bundle, which usually includes some months of software. Below are the published 2026 prices, four example setups for a first year, and a calculator for your own.
The four parts of the cost
- Software. A monthly or yearly subscription. Some vendors only sell 6- or 12-month terms.
- Hardware. A tablet or terminal, a receipt printer, a cash drawer, and sometimes a kitchen screen.
- Payment fees. Only if your POS company also processes card and e-wallet payments.
- Registration and setup. Registering the machine with BIR if it prints your invoices, plus training and menu setup.
Software
Entry-level POS software, per month
The cheapest plan each vendor publishes for a café or restaurant. Tap a bar for what it includes.

Core POS is free. Add-ons are extra, in US dollars, e.g. Employee Management $25/month per store. No built-in guest QR ordering.
- Kassly (free tier)₱0
Free for 1 branch, 1 terminal, 50 products. Paid add-ons ₱300–₱500 per branch a month. Says it is not a BIR-accredited CAS.
- Desk Axes Basic₱499
Counter service: one QR, guests order from their phone. Not a BIR-accredited POS. Free for the first month.
- Desk Axes Premium₱999
Dine-in: per-table QR, table map, kitchen display. Not a BIR-accredited POS. Free for the first month.
- Nom Starter₱999
QR ordering, not a full POS. There is also a free plan up to 500 customers a month.
- Qashier Essential₱1,790
Billed annually, VAT not included. Table QR ordering is a paid add-on.
- StoreHub Starter₱2,249
“From” price, billed annually. StoreHub says it is BIR-accredited at the system level.
- UTAK software package₱2,333
₱14,000 for 6 months (about ₱2,333 a month), VAT not included. UTAK says it is BIR-accredited.

Two things to watch. First, “per month” often means per month billed a year ahead, so the first payment is twelve times the headline. Second, some prices exclude VAT, which adds 12%. Mosaic doesn’t publish prices, and Square and Toast don’t operate in the Philippines.
Hardware
Prices from Philippine stores on 28 Sep 2026. They move with sales and stock:
- Android tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ (11-inch), ₱16,790 at Samsung’s own store.
- iPad: ₱32,990 at Apple’s Philippine store.
- 80mm receipt printer: from about ₱2,500 for an Xprinter, and ₱10,500 to ₱12,800 for an Epson TM-T82X.
- Cash drawer: about ₱2,090 to ₱3,449.
Bundles are simpler to buy. Qashier sells its X2 terminal for ₱39,900 with a year of its Essential plan, a cash drawer and a printer. UTAK’s full set, with a tablet, stand, drawer, printer and six months of software, is ₱49,999.
Payment fees
If your POS company processes card and e-wallet payments, it takes a percentage of each one. Qashier lists card payments from 1.8%. StoreHub takes QR Ph, GCash, Maya and cards but doesn’t publish its rates. Loyverse, Nom and Desk Axes don’t process payments at all: guests pay you the way they already do, and the system records it.
Registration and setup
If the POS will print the invoices your guests receive, each machine has to be registered with your BIR district office, and the software supplier has to be accredited. Vendors that call themselves BIR-accredited handle the supplier side; ask what the registration of each machine will cost you. If your POS won’t print invoices, keep using your registered invoice booklet. Menu setup and staff training are free with some vendors and billed by others, so ask.
