Terms of service

Desk Axes is ordering and kitchen-coordination software: a QR menu for guests and a staff/kitchen/admin back office. It is not a payment processor. It does not handle, store, or transmit card, e-wallet, or bank details of any kind — payment for food and drink always happens directly between the guest and the restaurant, outside the app.

A restaurant's menu, tables, orders, and staff accounts belong to that restaurant. Restaurant admins are responsible for who they invite as staff and for keeping login credentials secure. We don't sell or share a restaurant's operational data with other restaurants or third parties.

Every guest order is reviewed and confirmed by a staff member before it reaches the kitchen — nothing is sent, charged, or committed automatically. This is a deliberate product decision, not a limitation, and it isn't something restaurants can disable.

Don't use the service to submit false orders, disrupt another restaurant's account, attempt to access data that isn't yours, or interfere with the normal operation of the app. Staff accounts are for the people they're issued to.

New restaurants get their first month at no charge, as described on the pricing page at the time of signup. After that, the service is billed at the then-current rate for your plan. You can cancel before the free month ends at no cost — see the Account page for how to close your store and export your data.

This is an actively developed product — features, screens, and this document may change as it evolves. We aim to keep core ordering and kitchen flows reliable, but the service is provided without uptime guarantees at this stage. We'll post material changes to these terms on the What's new page; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

A restaurant can close its own store at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that violates the acceptable-use terms above, doesn't pay for an active plan, or is used in a way that puts other restaurants' data or the service itself at risk.

Desk Axes coordinates ordering information between guests, staff, and the kitchen; it does not prepare food, handle payment, or guarantee order accuracy once confirmed by staff. The restaurant remains responsible for the food, service, and transaction with its guests. To the extent permitted by law, Desk Axes is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved directly with us is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
